Privacy policy

The short version

There are no accounts and no logins. Your roster picks stay in your own browser. The site may show third-party ads on content pages, and those ad providers can set their own cookies. Ads are kept off the roster builder, team selector, contact form, and legal pages. The choices and opt-out links are explained below.

What is stored in your browser

Your roster selections, practice-squad picks, emergency QB designation, and theme preference are saved in your browser's local storage. They are stored on your device only — they are never uploaded to a Predict the 53 server, and we cannot read them. Clearing your browser's site data removes them permanently.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic counts such as page views, referrers, browser type, and approximate country. Cloudflare describes this service as cookieless and says it does not fingerprint visitors. The analytics loader also honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals and waits briefly for an available consent decision. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for the provider's description.

Feedback you send

If you use the feedback form, the message, feedback category, page address, and page context are sent through FormSubmit to the site owner's email inbox. You may optionally include your name and email address if you want a reply. Feedback is not connected to your roster picks, and the site does not use PostHog or another product-analytics service to store the text you submit.

Advertising and cookies

Predict the 53 displays advertising served by Google. The following disclosures are required of sites that use Google AdSense:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown the Google consent message configured for this site. Your choice controls personalized advertising where the message applies. Consent-message availability and regional behavior are provided by Google and can change as its requirements change.

Where the roster data comes from

Player and team information is requested from ESPN's public NFL feed when you open a team page. Some images, such as player headshots and team logos, are loaded directly from ESPN's servers, which means ESPN receives your IP address as part of serving those images. Predict the 53 is not affiliated with ESPN, the NFL, or any team.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Because the site holds no account data, there is nothing on our side to export or delete. To remove everything this site has put on your device, clear its site data in your browser. To control advertising cookies, use the opt-out links above.
